Worcester County divorce records are official documents that record the dissolution of a marriage. They generally serve as proof that a couple’s marriage has legally ended and contain the terms of their divorce. Some of the information that may be provided includes, but is not limited to, the case number, the names of involved parties, and the filing date. Generally, divorce records are subject to Massachusetts Public Record laws; as a result, most divorce records are considered public.

In Worcester County, divorce proceedings are handled by the county Probate and Family Court. Thus, requests for divorce records are typically directed to the court. Records seekers may complete the Request for Copies Form (PFC 18) and submit it along with the applicable fees in person or by mail to the Worcester County Probate and Family Court.
